WHEREAS, it is prudent that all in the State of Delaware have complete confidence in their President of this great country.īE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the 151 st General Assembly of the State of Delaware that the Senate expresses the importance of documenting and demonstrating sound mental abilities of our President of the United States.īE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senate encourages full transparency on the mental capabilities of their highest elected leader.īE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senate urges our President take a cognitive test and make the results public for the Delaware and American people. WHEREAS, this is not a partisan issue, people of all political persuasions have concerns about President Biden’s condition, and as such, we encourage President Biden to take a cognitive test as soon as possible and make the results public for the American people and WHEREAS, 50% of voters disagree with the statement that President Biden is “in good health,” which represents a 29-point shift since October 2020 and WHEREAS, recent polling reflects Independents, by a margin of 23 points, do not believe President Biden is mentally fit and WHEREAS, recent polling reflects that 48% of voters disagree with the statement that President Biden is mentally fit, with only 46% agreeing and representing a 19-point change from October 2020 and WHEREAS, the American people have continuously lost faith in our President’s ability to effectively and competently handle the duties as President of the United States and WHEREAS, in 2018, political opponents and members of media clamored for then President Trump to take a cognitive test and in response the White House Physician conducted a Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) for President Trump, at which he excelled and WHEREAS, the citizens of Delaware deserve full transparency on the mental capabilities of their highest elected leader and WHEREAS, the citizens of Delaware deserve to know that he or she can perform the duties of Head of State and Commander in Chief and Short-term memory: Ability to hear a word and repeat it back a short time later.
